The History Channel did a special on Grand Central back in the 1990s that is much superior.
Additional remarks by Howard Stanford: Narration:Just enough. Would kids enjoy this?I doubt it. Image quality:Good. DVD Value:Overpriced for the amount of enjoyment I got out of it. Recommend to others?Not unless they REALLY were interested in the subject matter.

The History Channel did an hour-long special on Grand Central Terminal that is superior to this, I would recommend that you seek out the 'Trains Unlimited' production.

Grand Central is a fine historical documentary and, whether you live in New York or not, it gives an understandable picture of how Grand Central figures into the growth of New York City. The photographs and narration are superb and this DVD is definitely a keeper to be watched more than just once.
