early diesels vol.3 the last vol of the early diesels series looks at different types of diesel locomotives operating in the eastern states shot from 1988 to 2002 the video first starts with a look at the Trans-Kentucky Transportation Railway or tti for short with the railroads pair of u28b's pulling coal trains and a switcher a few units from norfolk southern including a pair of southern gp30's on the rathole the rsd1 at the tennessee valley railroad museum a flashback of older csx power many units in b&o and chessie system paint the ohio central with a switcher on a passenger train marc transit power featuring an fp9 gp40 and e9 units the Potomac Eagle railroad with three different diesels and finailly the western maryland scenic railroad with alco rs loco's and b&o gp9 800 the video than concludes with footage of f units on the ohio central railroad over all the early diesels series is a great series looking at the older diesel locomotives that aren't operating in today's modern railroad operations these are videos that you won't want to miss providing great action and information on these engines

interesting alcos, interesting tourist lines, some activated today, others are scrapped. if the western maryland scenic railroad is operating their final year of mountain thunder (734), lets keep our fingers crossed for Greg's footage of the locomotive or he'll chase 611's second revival.
