X2000 Cab Ride: In 1993 Amtrak tested a high speed trainset from Denmark known as the X2000. The purpose was to develop a standard for the train we now know as the Acela Express. This program features an exciting cab ride up the Northeast Corridor reaching speeds of 135 m.p.h.
