X2000 Cab Ride: In 1993 Amtrak tested a high speed trainset from Denmark known as the X2000. The purpose was to develop a standard for the train we now know as the Acela Express. This program features an exciting cab ride up the Northeast Corridor reaching speeds of 135 m.p.h. See departure from Washington, ride on-board in the right seat through Wilmington, Philadelphia, Zoo Tower, Newark and bridges, and arrival at Penn Station. Running time:57 minutes. Available in DVD with Hi-Fi stereo sound and limited narration. Locations shown by on-screen titles. Packaged in a durable plastic library case with a printed full color cover.
