Featured lines include The Conestoga Traction Co., West Penn Railways, The Philadelphia Suburban Transportation Co., The Reading Street Railways at locations including the city of Lancaster, Lancaster County, Altoona, Johnstown, Allentown, Reading and Hen hey. Trolleys of Philadelphia takes a contemporary look at one of the oldest operating trolley systems in America, featuring the older P.C.C. cars, the newer Kawasaki cars and trackless trolleys. The entire program was shot from trackside at many locations during the summer of 1990.
