This video contains an exciting look back in time at some of Pennsylvania's early trolley routes dating back to 1930. Featured lines include The Conestoga Traction Co., West Penn Railways, The Philadelphia Suburban Transportation Co., The Reading Street Railways at locations including the city of Lancaster, Lancaster County, Altoona, Johnstown, Allentown, Reading and Hen hey. The original footage was shot on 16mm and 8mm film in both black and white and color, transposed to video with musical background added. 60 Minutes - Color - B&W - Sound

Trolleys of Philadelphia takes a contemporary look at one of the oldest operating trolley systems in America, featuring the older P.C.C. cars, the newer Kawasaki cars and trackless trolleys. The entire program was shot from trackside at many locations during the summer of 1990. In your opinion, how was the narration level? There was no narration.
Just enough.
Could have used more.

Narration can be turned off.

Aside from the content of the DVD, how would you rate the image quality (sharpness, camera steadiness, etc)? Poor.
A little rough around the edges.

How would you rate the VALUE of this video? Overpriced for the amount of enjoyment I got out of it.
Seemed a little high, but not too bad.
Good value.
