Then you'll be on hand to see 1218 westbound out of Roanoke to Bluefield, West Virginia. You'll see the 1218 tackle the famous Blue Ridge grade on the way to Lynchburg and then it's up and over Christiansburg Mountain on the way to Walton. This is spectacular mountain railroading at it's best!
