On July 23, 1994 The Long Island Rail Road operated a special train from Jamaica to Greenport, N.Y. and return to celebrate 160 years of continuous operation. Following the ceremonies at Greenport employees and invited guests were treated to the premiere showing of the video Long Island Rail Road-A tradition of Service" produced for the L.I.R.R. by Dick Young Productions, Ltd.
