A "Head-End" ride in the cab of a L.I.R.R. GP-38-2 diesel engine from Jamaica to Oyster Bay, NY. This is one of the most scenic lines on the Long Island Rail Road. 60 Minutes - Color - Sound

On July 23, 1994 The Long Island Rail Road operated a special train from Jamaica to Greenport, N.Y. and return to celebrate 160 years of continuous operation. Following the ceremonies at Greenport employees and invited guests were treated to the premiere showing of the video Long Island Rail Road-A tradition of Service" produced for the L.I.R.R. by Dick Young Productions, Ltd. A gourmet buffet style luncheon was provided before reboarding and returning to Jamaica This program is comprised of "Head-End" highlights of the round trip as well as the festivities at Greenport. 60 Minutes - Color - Sound
