watched this last night and once again another excellent video from steam train videos in search of steam vol.3 looks at 7 steam locomotives that operated during the 2019 season the first segment looks at pere marquette berkshire 1225 on a 2 day photo charter passenger train at the steam railroading institute in owosso michigan in january providing great action than the next segment looks at the oregon coast scenic railroad during a photo charter hosted by trains magazine for the first run of the newly restored skookum the rarest articulated steam engines ever built than two months latter is a look at the return of union pacific big boy 4014 in may as the 4014 double headed with union pacific 844 on the return trip from ogden utah from the great race race to ogden as they travel across the famous wasatch grade the next segment pays a visit to the cumbres & toltec scenic railroad with k-36 mikado 488 pulling a sunset dinner train to cumbres pass in august than in September there's a visit to the grand canyon railroad with consolidation 29 and mikado 4960 double heading a passenger train to the south rim of the canyon this would also be the last time 29 would operate for now as the boiler expired in the fall and 4960 will probably be the only steam engine operating on the railroad for now the last segment looks at union pacific big boy 4014 one more time on the last trip of 2019 as it traveled from las vegas nevada to southern california as part of the great race across the southwest once again another excellent video as always the more i've bought from steam train videos the videos always seem to bring a lot excitement of today's steam operations hope for more exciting videos in the future
