SOME OF THE OTHER HIGHBALL AIRPORT VIDEOS HAVE SHAKINESS IN THE CAMERA WORK, BUT THIS ONE IS VIRTUALLY PERFECT. MUCH IMPROVED AND A JOY TO WATCH. EASY ON THE EYES!
Additional remarks by JOHN ZIG: Narration: A little bit too much. Image quality: Excellent! DVD Value: Good Value Recommend to others? Definitely.

I have 2 sons, and like most boys, their interests are different. One loves trains like I do, but the other loves airplanes. 4 years ago, I started to expand my video collecting for my sons to include airplanes (Highball's "Previews Vol.# 1" was the 1st to arrive here) with my railroad video collection. Today, I have 35 airplane/airport videos, or 5% of my total video collection on airplanes/railroads combined. I have been very slow with purchasing anything about airplanes mainly because most videos (from various producers) have no narration or screen graphics to explain what we are viewing. The sounds on the videos are only the natural sounds of the outdoors.
Being a Canadian, I wanted a view on a Canadian airport, and finally purchased this video. Here is a video that differs from the traditional airport videos. Highball Productions has included narration and screen graphics in this video telling us what the planes are, and a brief summary of the airlines we view. Vancouver British Columbia is a major Canadian airport, with a lot of regional, national and international companies serving it. Canadian, American, and East Asian airlines makes up the majority of the video, but there are also some companies from Europe making appearances. The video is shot in various weather conditions adding to interest as we view planes in some very wet conditions as well as sunny days. And there are a few comical little stories included, like appearances from Security. The narrator also gives locations of places to view the planes for those who are in the Vancouver area and wish to see the planes in person. I was extremely impressed and recommend this video to all fans and the general public for general interest sake. A 5 star rating for sure.
Additional remarks by rrvideoman: Narration: Just enough. Would kids enjoy this? Definitely! Image quality: Excellent! DVD Value: Excellent Value! Recommend to others? A "Must Have"!
