CN on the Albreda and Edison subs over Yellowhead Pass between Hinton, Alberta and Tete Jaune, British Columbia in June, 1999. You'll see CN's unusual power, EMD & GE cowls together with new SD75I's and C44-9W's. The Canadian, the best looking passenger train around, and its baby sister, the Skeena, make appearances, as does the Rocky Mountaineer. Lots of CN action in superb scenery.

Is a long time I was wanting to see something of that route. I was curious after see the pretty photos published in RP.net...
I would like that have more a larger number of subtitles (legends) to search that places in web maps...
The places are very pretty... For who likes Canadian railroads, it is worth to check!
Sorry about english

Anything in the Canadian Rockies is almost always good. Yellowhead Pass is a low elevation Pass when compared to other pass's. Having been to Jasper National Park and through the Yellowhead Pass a few times, I appreciate the work gone into this video. It shows the line and the region very well. The scenery and wildlife is exceptional. And so are the trains. Well done Highball.

I really enjoyed this DVD, first off photography and camera work is excellent everything is shot on sunny day's (A challenge in Canada) . Narration and maps are interesting and informative. There's lots of interesting power, shot in 1999 there's everything from SD40-2W,s, SD50 & 60F's', 8-40CM's up to the latest at that time GE's and EMD's, its all here from manifest freights, unit coal trains, intermodal and stack trains. Non stop CN action all filmed and seen in Canada's splendid scenery. Defiantly a "must have" DVD

Beautiful scenery and railroad action are what you will find in this program. Train after train passing through scenic vistas found only in Canada. A good amount of effort must have gone into capturing these scenes, and it paid off with this wonderful DVD.

I think that a lot of research must have gone into this title, before the filming took place as the result is excellent. Lots of action with loads of 'red-barns' and 40-2Fs in some really lovely locations perfectly picked, together with loads of wide angle scenery shots.
