Big GE's on coal trains and a pair of SD40-2's on the wayfreight alongside the Columbia River, which runs through the Rocky Mountain Trench. This is CP's highly scenic Windermere Sub between Golden and Fort Steele, BC.

Beautiful Canadian scenery, as usual, but without the artist's eye of an Aaron from 7Idea Productions, not developed to its full beauty. Still, a good buy. Only thing that bothered me is a locomotive set of two SD-40-2s, pulling different trains, but they appear 20, that's TWENTY separate times (including introduction and closing) in this one hour five minute program. Other than that a good program.

Hello,
its a wonderful country. Its good for my eyes to see more than only coaltrains: mixed trains. I`d like to see more of the lumber industry. I missed as an foreigner a map shown in the Video. I'd seen it often in other filmproductions.

A great video for the scenic beauty of the region. The CPR follows what is basically a north-south mountain pass, and the action through here is really good. Not as many trains on this sub as you will find on the main line service, but still really great to see.
