Technically very good. Do think that the driver's view shots occupied too much of video, as there is a sameness about a lot of Light Rail Private -right-of-way..lots of concrete, lots of look-alike tracks. For me street views of the various cars, and indeed of suburbia from the car is a lot more interesting.

Locations include LAUPT, Chinatown, The L.A. River Bridge, Lincoln Heights at 26th Ave, 33rd Ave, Heritage Square near French Ave, 45th Ave Crossing at Southwest Museum, 50th Ave Crossing with some Street Running at Highland Park on 57th Ave, Figueroa Street with the Arroyo Seco Bridge & Verde Road Crossing, Monterey Road with Pasadena Ave, Indiana Ave, Orange Grove Ave, Mission Street & Depot, Hope Street, Fremont Ave, Memorial Bridge, Columbia Street Bridge, Fair Oaks Ave Bridge, Glenarm Street, Filmore, California Boulevard, Del Mar before the Tunnel, Memorial Park with another Tunnel, Lake Depot, Allan, & ends at Sierra Madre Villa near Pasadena on interstate 210. Throughout the cab rides in both directions, there are commentaries from the Passengers & Crew Members. There's also a Vintage Film clip of the Red Trolleys from the Pacific Electric, as well as an edited clip of Santa Fe 3751 in Black & White, plus test runs in April, & tons of bonus segments like Posters & Timetables.

This DVD has it all. city officials making speeches, Opening Day festivities, plus ans incredible round trip on the Gold Line from one end of the line to the other. The camera work is outstanding and it makes you feel as though you were driving the train. There was hardly any narration or music to mar the trip and the fact that you get to see the newly refurbished for transit Santa Fe historic Pasadena sub is another plus. Any fan of traction in Los Angeles should have this for their collection.
