This DVD makes you feel as though you are part of the crew. It is that good. You ride in the cab of the Broadway Limited from Philadelphia to New York City and not one minute of recording time is wasted. There are no cluttered run by shots or worms eye views of the train mixed in. Every station stop and signal is here to enjoy. plus the comments of Walt Berko and the engineer. Buy this DVD It`s great and a true railfans delight.

Walt Berko really made a classic recording with this one. A ride in the cab of this Amtrak train. I like this video because as with all of the other Railroad video Productions videos there is no yakety Yak narration. The narration is short and to the point. In fact you feel as though you are a member of the crew. Other companies that produce cab ride videos should take a look at Berko`s handiwork with a camera and learn from it.

Another one in an excellent series of Amtrak cab rides from Washington D.C. to Boston; including 1) Washington D.C. to Philadelphia, 2) Philadelphia to New York City, 3)NYC to New Haven, 4) New Haven to Providence, and 5)Providence to Boston. Railway Video Productions cab rides are great. They stick a camera in the front of the locomotive and you see the front, left and right sides in real time from start to finish (execpt for a few seconds at scheduled stops). There are no maps and very little chatter about sights along the line, but, the route is well known, and there are enough maps online to see where they go. They were filmed around the year 1985, but, very little has changed since then. I would like to see an Acela cab ride from Boston to Washington D.C. DVD from this company in the future if that's possible.
