Intense, heavy duty coal train action on QR National's Blackwater System in Queensland, Australia. Big trains powered by a pair of head end diesel or electric locomotives, with up to three mid train helpers. In addition, you'll see some passenger trains, including Australia's fastest, the Tilt train and some regular freights.

It´s an interesting DVD about the heavy coal trains in Australia. It shows a parade of heavy trains on narrow gauge.
It´s also interesting to see the huge diesel and electric locomotives.

Wowww, very interesting. Diesel and electric trains, sharing the same rail lines. Electric passenger service makes an appearance. Wide variety of trains from intermodal to general manifest to the namesake of the video.... coal. Massive long coal trains with mid-train slave units assisting the moves. It is really something to see. The power units look slightly different than what we see in North America, as do the unit coal cars. But over all..... the railroad action compares to North America. Fantastic video.
