This is the story of how a dedicated crew of volunteers located, recovered and reassembled Steam Donkey #928 for display at the new Tillamook Forest Center. Ironically, the donkey was stranded and saved from a WW II scrap drive by one or more of the Tillamook Burn fires, and sat waiting for many years to be rediscovered and placed in a position of historic honor.
This donkey can be seen today, along with the other fine displays and historic exhibits, at the Tillamook Forest Center about 18 miles east of Tillamook, Oregon, on Highway 6.
Total run time: Approximately 17 minutes

Well despite this was the shortest video ever made, it's really nice to see a piece of the turn of the century machine doing what it takes to go back in time.
