part 2 of a Lionel Christmas picks up where part 1 left off 15 years latter when this video was made showing the places of new York where Lionel trains returned to the big apple and other locations and I love how that people in the video includes the polar express in this cause that shows the Christmas holiday since that has help Lionel trains on the map I would recommend this and a Lionel Christmas part 1

In this 2010 TMBV Christmas Special, It starts with Producer Tom McComas On Camera, Talking about how much does Both Lionel Trains & Christmas blend well together at the same time. Which includes Stock footage of I Love Big Trains part 2 with Union Pacific Challenger 3985, as well as lionel catalogs. Then Jim Coffey sings a New Lionel Christmas song.

First stop, The producers of I Love Toy Trains hit the Concrete Canyons of the Big Apple: New York City. The city where millions of News both in papers, and television, and lots of TV shows like Sesame street, Good Morning America, Various Late Night Talk shows, and the Today Show. It starts with a zoom out of the skyline, as well as some of the 3,000,000 people more or less walking around the Manhattan section with the Rockefeller center tree, as well as some stock footages from Lionel Nation part 1. Lionel also opened its own store which is located across 50th street from Radio City Music Hall. There are lots of trains & accessories for sale there. Plus there is a Special Layout which is at the front store window. Outside the Rockefeller center, Tom Nuzzo & Roger Farkash of TW design installed the 5 by 9 foot layout where it was shown for a few episodes of NBC's Today show. A visit to Trainland in Lynbrook NY is shown. Inside, there are lots of Lionel Trains, The original Thomas Wooden Railway By Learning Curve Before Mattel Cheapens them, As well as the first 3 or 4 Lionel Nation DVDs. Plus they have its own store layout in Both Lionel & LGB. An interview with Store Manager Ken Bianco is included. Ken's first Lionel train was a 763E hudson with a realistic coal tender, and Tinplate freight cars. There is also an Original Pennsylvania B6 0-6-0 switcher number 8976 from 1939. A look at the Girl's train from the catalog is shown, plus a letter from Nancy Reagan on January 28, 1983. A 4-4-2 atlantic pulls passenger cars. From NYC, the TMBV crew heads west to Itasca Illinois for America's best train, toy, & Hobby shop where an interview with Tony Wallace is shown. Inside, there are lots of noteworthy model railroad brand names for sale there. Tony's first train set was from the MPC/fundamentions era in 1972: it was a Detroit Toledo & Ironton NW-2 Number 8111 hauling freight, while at the same time, his brother got the very first modern era lionel Steam set: the Silver Star. Also known as the Mighty Sound of Steam. Tony has a collection of the 70's & 80's Red & white Lionel Boxes. Plus catalog covers from the 80's. Photos from Tony's house are shown with plenty of decorations on the 3 level layout. Under the tree, a tinplate 2-4-2 with railsounds are hauling a mixed train. The store itself is 8000 square feet. On the Store Layout, There is a Blue & yellow Santa Fe GP38 hauling freight, a K-Line Alco RS-3 hauling the Ringling Brothers Circus train, and Tomas the Tank Engine Hauling Freight With Harold the Helicopter & Scruffey the Troublesome truck who only appeared in Toad Stands by from season 4. You won't believe how many sets, engines and cars are up for sale on the shelves. Plus they have the Original Polar Express with various add-on cars, & a background cardboard Diorama.

The Original Polar Express set is shown again, but it has a TrainSounds Tender, running on Atlas track, and its on the home layout of Sam Sciortino of Wooddale. Sam's First train, was a Marx army train. Sam also has a Fine Collection of Department 56 buildings, a 1970s or 1980s Rico station Building kit, and more engines on the display walls, Both Lionel O gauge and Special Hallmark Ornaments. Sam's father used to Worked for the Chicago & Northwestern back in the all steam era of revenue passenger & freight trains. An angel is on Top of Sam's tree.

The Next Layout takes us to Grapevine Texas Near Downtown Dallas. Inside the Gaylord Texan Hotel & Convention Center, there are giant trees, and a beautiful layout. An interview with Mike McLintock of the Lone Star Hi-Railers Model Railroad club is shown. The O gauge layout is 28 by 16 feet. There are 6 trains. Which includes a Santa Fe F-3 From 1952-1953, An NW-2 Hauling Freight, a 4-4-2 Atlantic hauling passengers and freight, a speeder, a trolley, The Hogwarts Express from the Harry Potter Movies, The original Polar Express, and several others in the yard area, Plus there are plenty of present era Lionel accessories. The G Scale layout is Located outside the hotel. It features a Rio Grande F unit, A Southern Pacific F unit in Daylight colors, An Alxo S1 hauling passengers, And some Gingerbread houses. Look closely on the Rock walls, and you'll see some familiar faces from the Thomas & Friends Tv Series (Thomas, Henry, Bertie & Percy).

Next a Visit to Northpark Mall is also shown in Dallas, where it is home to the Ronald McDonald House.You Won't Believe How Many Trains & Accessories this Gigantic Layout has offered for visitors. The layout is 55 feet wide and 80 feet long. An interview with Collector Van Bywaters is shown where Surprise Surprise, Pentrex also visited there in 1995 to be used on the Christmas Trains video. A fully Detailed Look at the trains & accessories on the layout was shown in Lionel Nation 5. Although there is a Model of Mt. Rushmore from South Dakota there. When Van was a tot in the late 40s, His father worked as an Oil producer. While the original Polar express Locomotive (PM 1225) is down for repairs, a fully restored 726 Berkshire is used to haul the coaches. Although Van Mentioned it, The scene of 726 with the polar Express isn't filmed.

Next, the TMBV crew visits the layout of Rich DeMondo in Elmhurst Illinois. Nearly 10 years later, many of the Locomotives, & cars on Rich's layout was shown in Railscenes 1.0. Rich's first train set was a Santa Fe F-3. Besides the Engines that were shown in Railscenes 1.0, Rich Also has a North Pole Central British 4-6-0 which is the Same molding and tooling like the Hogwarts express from the harry potter films, A New York Central 0-8-0 hauling freight, an 0-6-0 Dockside switcher, a Legacy model of Union Pacific 844 in the two tone gray scheme, An alco S3 running light in the yard, and many more locomotives and cars on the display walls. Plus he has a Dinosaur on the Hell Gate Bridge, Various Floodlight towers, and also a Diner with Random Crossing gates & signal lights. And yes, the subliminal scene with Union Pacific 4979 Hauling freight is also Reused on the Railscenes 1.0 DVD. The 8 by 12 layout started as a christmas display in 2006. For track, Rich uses Lionel's Old School tubular track. For Power, He uses a Trio of ZW transformers: 2 postwar, and 1 modern era where it needs 4 of the 180 watt power bricks, plus he uses the TMCC & Legacy Control system.

Afterwards, Jim sings a re-arranged version of Magical Christmas Train which was used in the Toy Train Revue reboot part 4. The magical Christmas train in this Program? Lionel's Model of Pere Marquette 1225 hauling a standard O scale version of the Polar Express. The real 1225 is at the Steam Railroading Institute in Owosso which is located 2.5 to 3 hours away from the I Love Toy Trains Store in Hesston. There are more Christmas trains in Lionel's Present century throughout the song. Who Knows what would happen one day where the TMBV crew visits the real 1225 in a Future I Love Toy Trains Video or even better, An I Love Big Trains Reboot?

The final layout in this program is Wood Hickman where the TM crew heads back to Dallas. the trains on the Layout include a Lionel Lines Blue and Orange Freight set, A CB&Q GP9 Hauling freight, a model of the New York Central J1E Hudson from 1990 Hauling Rio Grande coaches, a Blue & Yellow Santa Fe F-3, and the Southern Pacific Daylight. On the Layout there are plenty of road construction machines. Over the years, Woody expanded rooms and tables: from a 4x8, to an 8x16, and now its a 21x14 layout. A tinplate Standard Gauge Electric runs alongside the Ceiling walls. Woody Uses Lionel's Old School tubular track, and Atlas track. Accessories include the Lift bridge, a carnival, a Culvert Loader & unloader, various stations, more bridges and carved scenery by TW design. Woody also has more Lionel trains and accessories on the storage walls. There is also a winter portion on Woody's layout. Plus a handful of Department 56 buildings. Like the Crayola crayon house for example. He also has an animated baseball field. Woody operates 8 to 11 trains. Look closely for the 164 log loader on the ceiling. More still images from the postwar catalogs are shown. On Woody's 14th birthday, his mother gave him a Northern Pacific Geep which back then, it was priced at $59. Boy were things extremely cheap back in those decades! Woody also acquired the hobby shop door & store window from artist Angela Trotta Thomas' old train room. Every Christmas, Woody & his wife Madeline decorate the Entire house for the Holiday season. Some Posters from It's a Wonderful life are put on the display walls.

In the Closing Credits, Jim Coffey sings a Lionel Christmas which was originally written composed and performed by Phil Ambrose who he was known for singing that song from the 1995 video, as well as I love cat machines parts 1 & 2, & I Love Christmas.

The Bonus Segment was taken from Lionel Nation part 1 from 2008 as Jeff McComas talks about how much Lionel Trains & New York City have in Common with their Christmas displays at Macy's FAO Schwartz, & Grand Central Station.

Overall, its a decent sequel to enjoy again & again.
