The narration is just a short introduction into the history of the two railroads. Reading Wikipedia gives you a lot more information. There are no maps and no location information. In case of the V&T #29 2-8-0 is shown with two coaches running very slowly through an admittedly nice landscape. No information about the rebuilding program. This slow running leads to a locomotive very often enclosed in steam clouds (cylinder cocks open?). Not much to be seen of the locomotive in many scenes.
The NN is OK if you like more than one run-by in the same location in a number of occasions.
From my point of view the tape is much too long with 1 hour 55 min. I was dissapointed.
