In this soon to be 10 year old I Love Toy Trains DVD from 2011, it starts with wicked witches, flying bats, ghosts, monsters & goblins with Jim Coffey singing Halloween train with an on no blooper at the end of the segment. Afterwards, Jeff talks about the new York central jet powered budd car from the 60s with footage of real high speed bullet nosed trains. Throughout the program, there are familiar stock footages from the first 4 parts of Lionel nation. Next, there is part 1 of the aliens invading area 51 with voices provided by Tom McComas, Joe Stachler, & John pellengini who played big machine Mike in cat power. Afterwards, Jeff talks about a visit to an outdoor G Scale garden layout in Palm desert California. There are trains from LGB where the weather never destroys them. Which consists of a Santa Fe hudson, a Rio Grande 2-6-0, union Pacific freights, a blue and yellow Santa Fe F3, a Denver south park and Pacific 2-6-0, a Burlington freight, a Santa Fe warbonet F-3, another Rio Grande 2-6-0 this time in the bumblebee colors, and a Pennsylvania 2-6-0. The layout is measured at 3000 feet of track at 6 independent loops. The trestle measures 202 feet and 8 inches long. Inside the workshop, there are locomotives & cars are being serviced. The layout is operated by 14 transformers. Look carefully for replicas of mount Rushmore, the Santa Barbara mansion, Dwellings of the pueblo people, Indian Teepees, a model of the el tovar hotel which is located at the south rim of the grand canyon, the Indio station, and a small town based in the 50s with a trolley. Plus there is a quiz on who's on mount Rushmore in South Dakota. There is also a brief mention of President Lincoln
and the transcontinental railroad, which includes vintage photographs, Lionel models of the Jupiter and 119, and even stock footage from I love big trains with a special speed up footage of the South shore freight. The park was opened in 1998. Before Jim sings let's take a ride on a train with footage from The super rare program: rails to paradise or the great Montana train ride from 1996 or 1997, as well as more scenes of the hesston steam museum and one clip from Asia, engineer Charlie and conductor Henry in the bay window caboose are having fun on a freight train which is led by a lionel model of New York Central J3A hudson 5433 from the early 2000s. That song would be later used in a future train video by Marshall publishing. Afterwards an on no blooper is shown where the crane on the alien search train for its boom raised up and hits the tunnel portal. Next a visit to the big rock candy mountain is shown with a song by Jim Coffey, and a cameo appearance by one of the most iconic preschool characters from a 50 year old show. Next, Jim sings the railroad cars are coming through. Again these footages from this song was used in the first 4 parts of Lionel nation. The song concludes with special speed up footage from the really rare and yet to be converted to DVD title from the 90s: rails to paradise, as the Montana rail link passenger train must wait for a Burlington northern freight to pass. With 3 Jim Coffey songs completed, Jeff talks about a Lego layout which was built by Scott Sandburg of Warsaw Indiana. He played with Legos since he was 4. The trains that are included on a layout are a Japanese bullet nosed train, the Hogwarts express from the Harry potter movies, multiple freights on Norfolk southern, Canadian national, and BNSF, a crocodile which is an electric locomotive from Europe, passenger trains from Santa Fe & Amtrak, a Norfolk and western J class 4-8-4, a Christmas train, diesels from the grand trunk during his youth years in flint Michigan, and many more buildings, people & trains. There are 2 loops on the 20 by 20 feet layout. There is a circus, a farm, a movie theater, a harbor, the fire department which took 20 hours to build, and many other spots around the layout. The music in this segment was I just want a simple life in a field that I can tend from the since been discontinued all about John Deere series. Next, Jim sings I've got trains on the brain with more footage from The first 4 parts of Lionel nation, and concludes with 2 on no bloopers: one being a log loader, the other where Santa comes down from the parachute in Halloween town.

Overall, this is a decent ILTT program to watch again and again. Will TMBV ever convert the rails to paradise (Great Montana train ride) to DVD? Only time would tell. But as always all of today's kids would never know and/or care about the really hard work from the Michigan Indiana area based company anymore, because they are always focused/have their eyes glued to the Sharon Miller Style episodes of Thomas the tank engine.
