Follow the 614 west out of Cumberland and into the tough mountain grades of the ex-B&O main line. 22 miles on Sand Patch and 17 Mile Grade give the 614 all she can handle and then some!

There are lots of great runbys in this video, plus some awesome pacing scenes on 17 Mile Grade.

You'll also see an interview with Ross Rowland, 614's owner and engineer, as he tells the story of the resurrection of the 614 out of the ashes of Reading 2101.

This production, as well as Part 1, is what I would say a "must-have" for lovers of the Chessie Steam Specials/Safety Express trips, as well as fans of C&O 614. This is a chance to re-live the days where the mighty 4-8-4 would once again stomp across the grades of the former B&O and C&O lines. With a younger Rich Melvin providing narration, interview footage with Ross Rowland himself, and plenty of action, this is a DVD I highly recommend that you pick up, especially with Part 1 as well!
