Marshall Canyon is a “funnel” in eastern Washington State southwest of Spokane on the rail lines going south towards the Columbia River. BNSF, CP, UP share two mainlines through this canyon. The line starts at Latah Junction in Spokane where the old Great Northern, Northern Pacific and the Spokane Portland and Seattle joined, with one track on each side of the canyon. There used to be a 3rd line through the canyon (a former MILW line on which UP had trackage rights) that is now a hiking trail. In the northern part of the canyon, there is a connecting track between the two main lines. Oh, yea! This is a 16x9 Widescreen video!
