Well......I thought I'd give Pentrex another chance. They struck out!!! The problem I have is their equipment must be out to date or something. While the foreground & background is in focus, the moving train is blurry...really blurry. Before anyone responds about my tv......I have a Sony top of the line w/ 240 refresh. And I have NO PROBLEM with any other RR video productions. I do, however, really enjoy the quality & amount of narration. Without that fact, it would ONE star.

There are some great things about urban railroading..... lots of trains. A wide variety of trains, and railroad companies. This video is no exception. The best part is..... we see the differences that 10+ years makes. You have to love the little shortlines and the tourist attractions along the way.

Houston - A Decade of Difference is another 2 disc set disc one looks back at archive footage pentrex recorded around the early 2000's one of the things that I found interesting was seeing the Kansas city southern's older power (their sd40-2's) a 1944 Baldwin vo 1000 on the Texas southeastern and a few railroads I've never heard of like the Angelina & Neches River and the Galveston railroad with switchers moving around fright (during the time of the visit security was tight since the 9/11 attacks) and hot spots all around the Huston area disc two pentrex returned to Houston in the spring of 2014 with an up to date look at the operations from years ago action is by the three big railroads of the west the Kansas city southern union pacific and bnsf hiuston's commuter services is featured Norfolk southern appears on bnsf lines the port terminal railroad association makes a cameo and the show finish's off with a visit to the Texas state railroad with both steam and diesel power trains operating this was a nice presentation on how the Houston area for railfaning has been that anyone who's interested in the Huston area

l live in Houston and decided to get this. Great coverage of hot spots in and around Houston. As expected with Pentrex, narration is very informative. The coverage of the Texas State RR is awesome. My only complaint is picture quality. Whatever is still looks pretty good. But fast moving trains blur whether in play or pause mode. l couldn't read the roster numbers on some of the locos. Maybe it was recorded at a low frames per second rate?? l was expecting better since it was filmed in the 21st century.
