B-17 Time has 4 main segments. First is 2013 operations in Cincinnati with B-17G Aluminum Overcast. This aircraft is operated by the EAA and sells rides for flights in the area. We will see a exclusive great start-up sequence on the sunny side in the morning, and watch a few take-offs, fly overs and landings.

Next we turn back the clock to 2007 and enjoy a ride in "Liberty Belle" from Mt. Comfort, Indiana. In this segment you will see a little bit of ground shots, then board the plane for a good view of the interior, the crew, and outside views of the 4 engines, and ground below. Experience views from the nose, and behind the pilot and co- pilot as well. This is an interesting and thrilling segment. A few years after this was video taped, the aircraft caught fire and had to make an emergency landing in a field. So this segment is somewhat historic.

The third segment is historic film of "The Memphis Belle". This is not a complete film, but runs about 18 minutes and has the beginning and ending, and tells the story of the final mission of the first B-17 to complete 25 combat missions. This is a neat film and has sound and narration.

Our fourth aircraft is "Nine-O-Nine" which is owned and operated by the Collings Foundation. Our coverage is a visit to Valparaiso, Indiana in 2016. We will see some nice close-ups of engine starting, taxi scenes, take-offs, landings, and some good fly-overs. In addition we will see a little bit of some other planes that were there. Great action of this plane as well as the others in this video.

The B-17 Flying Fortress is an iconic WW II aircraft and there are only 10 to 12 of them still in operation today. They are one of the most widely known and popular aircraft of the WW II Army Air Force.
