This aircraft is one of only 2 operational SBD Dauntless today, so seeing this rare bird fly is unique. We will see it in Cincinnati, Ohio, arriving from its previous engagement and several close-up shots of taxi, start-ups, take-offs, landings, and some nice low passes over the field. There is a brief history of the aircraft, then live audio with minimal narration for the show. In addition to this modern footage, we have included the World War 2 film "Pacific Milk Run" which is about 17 minutes. This film, made by the Navy and Marines, shows operations off a pacific island with the SBD's, B-25's, TBM's, and Corsairs in action. This film perfectly compliments the modern footage we have shot. Those radial engines sound great in our footage and in the film.
Shot with HD camera, except the old film which is Black and White with sound. Total 75 Minutes.

This 2016 title, which it along with P-51 Mustangs was not only the very first WWII titles to be made by the late Greg himself on Blu-Ray, but these were also the final WWII titles to be narrated by John Edward Hingsbergen. The segments in order during June of 2014 are: The Dauntless Arriving at Lunken Airport in Cincinnati from Columbus Ohio with the history of the Plane itself that has music included, as well as a model T-6 JS-51 on display, not to mention the film: Midway with Charlton Heston, The Dauntless making more start-ups, take-offs, landings, flights, & rolling on the ground the next day with JS-51 on the ground moving & even up in the air, not to mention some of the demonstrating features of the Dauntless, & a Vintage 1944 Black & White Sound Film called "Pacific Milk Run". The June 2014 Segments ran for 55 minutes, while the bonus film during the War ran for 18 minutes
