These priceless film images were captured by Tom Butterworth and other 5 other dialed in ​cinematographers of the era, at locations that were some of the best in the world for this type of intense railroad action. We make the case for watching freight car traffic-patterns and loads to better understand how railroads worked before all the mergers in the 1990's change everything forever!
