I will watch anything w/the WP at least once, so I might be a little biased. I like this video and would recommend it to anybody interested in the WP. The scenery is nice and the narration does a fair job of telling the WP story.

Watch the video and come visit the Western Pacific RR Museum in Portola, CA.

As a WP fan, I'll collect most things. Content was a bit 'old' for my period of interest (merger with the UP), but still an interesting programme to watch.
Additional comments:
Narration: Just enough.
Would kids enjoy this? I doubt it.
Image quality: Good.
Value: Fair.
Recommend? Only if really interested.

Although I'm mainly a Santa Fe fan, I really like WP too. There aren't that many WP videos, so this definitely filled a gap in my collection. The main problem I had with the video is that the narrative is somewhat jumpy, and the visual material hops from place to place sometimes in a seemingly illogical way. These drawbacks probably stem from the difficulty of stitching together a video of a relatively little photographed railroad, from several different sources. Overall, I'm glad I bought it and recommend it to other WP fans.
