Over 300 trains and 1,000,000 people use Howrah Station, across the Hoogly River from Calcutta, every day! 5' 6" gauge trains, with people hanging from the doors, EMU's and both diesel and electric hauled passenger trains, from locals to Rajdhani Expresses. The trains are colorful and full of character, the diesel locomotives are Indian built Alco models, delightfully smokey, in a variety of types and colors. Howrah, with swarms of people everywhere, is India's largest station. We also visit Kamarkundu Junction and Kolaghat Junction for more passenger trains and some freight trains.

Most. Boring. Train. DVD. Ever. Made.
They pretty much just set up a camera and filmed the same trains going back and forth in the same place. Sure, it is exotic because it is India but the novelty wears off quickly.
Ranks w/virtual fish tanks for entertainment value.
Unless you just have to see Howrah Station traffic, I would give this a pass.
