BNSF Crossing the Cornbelt Vol 2 5 of 5 (1)
We had such a wonderful time documenting this line, we wanted to do it again! In this video, C. Vision revisits the Marshall Subdivision, this time starting in Sioux City, Iowa, and then northward to Willmar, Minnesota. New trains, including their symbols, are seen traversing the main line through the cornfields of Iowa, South Dakota, and Minnesota. New merger paint schemes, along with the traditional colors are seen pulling many types of freights. A bonus segment of the tape takes us over the Wayzata Sub to Minneapolis and a glimpse of Northtown Yard! If you crave variety in BNSF railroading "Midwest Style", both volumes are a must for your collection!

BNSF Crossing the Cornbelt Vol 2 rrvideoman on 2010-01-22 22:42:41.
If You have seen BNSF Crossing the Corn Belt, The Marshall Subdivision and enjoyed it, the You will really like Vol. #2. If you have not seen either, You need to. True to C-Vision style, this video is seen in all seasons, with main line and local switching. The scenery is through some beautiful agricultural territory, and plenty of lovely old farms and grain elevators are seen. Although the same territory as "the Marshall Sub." the scenes barely repeat each other, adding to the variety of the region. Like most C-Vision videos, there some narration, but it is not over done. The natural sounds of the open air and trains passing by gives the viewer of "being there with the trains". An excellent production that is worth the value in any collector's video library.
Additional remarks by rrvideoman: Narration: Just enough. Would kids enjoy this? Yes. Image quality: Excellent! DVD Value: Excellent Value! Recommend to others? A "Must Have"!
