OK, so 7idea comes out with a video on a subject for which I already have a couple DVDs by other producers. In the past I was very happy that I bought the 7idea version despite having other videos on the subject and this is the case once again.
I had the Pentrex "Assault on Soldier Summit" and the Railway Productions "Utah's Incredible Soldier Summit." This 7idea version blows both of those others away.
I have said it before and I will say it again... when you see the 7idea video on a subject, you feel like you are really seeing it for the first time, no matter how many other versions you might already have seen.
The wide screen format and the top quality image make you feel like you are trackside with the videographers. The scenery and the railroad action are both excellent in this video. There are some great snow scenes.
I simply do not know of any way this video could have been better. Buy it!

There have been many productions featuring Soldier Summit in recent years and this one is right at the top. For those familiar with SS the locations are all familiar
but the camera angles used are a little different, quite interesting, and they shot the area in multiple seasons for great contrast. With this production 7Idea has completed coverage via 4 productions of nearly the entire Denver to Salt Lake City (actually the base of Spanish Fork Canyon) Denver & Rio Grande route.

Again a great production from 7idea, excellent footage of all the trains and great scenery.
Blu Ray quality is A1 and very informative commentary. Beautiful picture quality on wide screen TV. Great to see the Australian SD50s locomotives still going strong and doing a great job.

Score another great DVD for 7 Idea production's. I have rail famed through the Price river canyon and Solder Summit on numerous occasions and I really enjoyed watching this DVD. 7 Ideal gets all the action in all the classic spots and shot during all four seasons it was nice to see trains photographed from sunny day's to snow. Union Pacific's action is fantastic then add in BNSF run thorough's, Amtrak and Utah Railway's Caterpillar powered MC 5000s with six to seven older EMD helpers on monster coal trains and it doesn't get any better this this DVD.

Really enjoyed this video, the scenery is fantastic, photography is some of the best I have seen. The information from the narration was very informative. Look forward to more DVDs from this production company.
