steam across america is another great video trains magazine has done this video shows the history for the preservation with the steam locomotives operating for mainline excursions and tourist railroads across the united states and what started the movement for steam operations to preserve the history and a look at the diffrent types of steam engines there's a lot of many of the popular steam engines that have a number of fans there's too many to name but the many names include norfolk & western 611 milwaukee road 261 both southern 4501 & 630 reading & northern 425 pere marquette 1225 the geared type locomotives (mostly the engines of the cass scenic railroad) the strasburg railroad engines (great western railway 90 norfolk & western 475 and canadian national 89 there's also vintage footage of the reading camel back steamer and canadian national 7312 which was the first steam engine for the railroad when it became a tourist attraction) the engines at dollywood iowa interstate 6988 santa fe 3751 grand canyon railroad 4960 and 29 the engines of the cumbres and toltec scenic railroad and so forth there's also footage showcasing many other engines that are shown such as soo line 1003 and new hope & ivyland 40 now there's so many engines to discuses that's seen but this is another excellent video from trains magazine you'll enjoy this video for anyone who loves steam engines it's like a steam paradise enjoyment Steam Across America DVD Steamboy (Revere MA US) on 2021-02-25 09:00:06.
