Born of a cast-off route thought too devoid of traffic to pay for itself, the WC has grown into the nations premier regional railroad, boasting a heavy-duty CTC mainline from Chicago to Superior, WI that connects a network of branches, serving the paper, printing, mining, and other regional industries.
