Bravo! Bravo! Once again, I give an enthusiastic tip-of-the-hat to Aaron Bentsen and the crew at 7idea Productions. I found it incredibly hard to imagine the effort that had to be put out in order to capture this footage - snow-shoeing with camera equipment, through the deep snow to remote locations, dealing with freezing temperatures, and all while still being able to produce excellent quality footage. The dvd, primarily covers the areas from Index to Leavenworth, and shows up-close and "in your face" railroading action, along with stunning scenes of the surrounding environment. While hard to narrow it down, my absolute favorite footage on this release was shot at the areas of the Foss River trestle and Deception Creek. The images of the trains slowly climbing the grade, through the narrow confines of the snow-covered trees, is incredible. And as always, Aaron provides excellent narration with interesting information at all sites. Believe me, you will be happy with this purchase!

Most videos that claim to cover winter, just show a few scenes of sunny days with a little snow on the ground. Let me tell you that this video truly shows winter! I bought it specifically for this reason and it didn't disappoint! I live in North Carolina where we see very little snow if any in winter so I really enjoy at least viewing this sort of weather on my tv. I really appreciate the video crew's efforts in filming in these conditions and showing some of what they went through to do it. Excellent work on a beautiful part of our country!

SNOW, SNOW and more SNOW. What an amazing release this is! I have Aaron's Stevens Pass BNSF Railways Scenic Sub release and this one is a fantastic companion to that one. Of course all of 7idea Productions releases are a class act in my opinion, of which I now have 27, but this release has to be one of my all time favorites. If you have ANY interest in watching trains in a winter setting, then you must buy this release. Simply incredible!
