A steamy story about Wales' Ffestiniog Railway and two of it's locomotives. We take a cab ride on Blanche, and see both Blanche and The Earl out on the line. In addition we'll take a brief tour of the shops at Boston Lodge and a slate mine. Blanche makes a lot of noise for such a little engine, loads of fun! The Earl is a double Fairlie, with a central cab and two boilers!

Take a acb ride on an ex South African 2' gauge Beyer-Garratt on the Welsh Highland Railway, and see two Garratts in action from the lineside, plus ride the train and see some scenery. The garratts are enormous machines for 2' gauge, and what a noise they make! Thoroughly enjoyable!
