Vignettes of the JERSEY CENTRAL Volume 2 shows the CNJ in the turbulent 1960s, from Jersey City, NJ to Bethlehem, PA. The CNJs multiple track mainline, used by parent company Baltimore and Ohio and sister company Reading is featured being utilized by all three companies in Jersey City, Communipaw, Elizabethport, Elizabeth, Aldene, Cranford, Plainfield, Middlesex, and Bound Brook. Other locations visited include Passaic Drawbridge, Brills Transfer, Bayway, Rahway, Phillipsburg, and Bethlehem. The CNJs fleet of FMs, Geeps, Fs, Babyfaces, RSs, switchers, and SD35s are aided by leased N&W Fs, and are seen along with Reading and B&O GP30s and GP35's. As a special bonus, we will also take a short look at the Lehigh and Hudson River Railroad which ran over the CNJ from Bethlehem to Easton. Color, 56 minutes, Sound with narration, DVD-R format.
