The classic railroads include: Duluth Missabe & Iron Range, Burlington Northern, LTV Steel Mining, Northshore Mining, Duluth Winnipeg & Pacific, Canadian National, Soo Line, Southern Pacific, Amtrak, Chicago & NorthWestern, Duluth & Northeastern, Wisconsin Central, Nicolet Badger Northern, Dakota Minnesota & Eastern, Green Bay & Western, Union Pacific, Lake Superior & Ishpeming, Algoma Central, Escanaba & Lake Superior, CP Rail and the Minnesota Dakota & Western.
