Nice coverage of the railroads in and around Lafayette, Indiana. I liked the comparison with the historical footage - wish there was more of that. The maps helped. Wish there had been coverage of the Lafayette Belt.

A well photographed DVD that I enjoyed watching narration was excellent informative and interesting photography was excellent with nice maps and graphics showing all the rail lines in and around Lafayette. The DVD was filmed from 1993 on into 2000 there's a nice verity of equipment from NS CSX pool power run through 's and Amtrak and the DVD also covers the action outside Lafayette.

As a rail fan, I am often looking for locations that is worth travelling from home for a long weekend for great rail action. Railroad video productions help to locate some of these locations.
Located roughly 60 miles to the northwest of Indianapolis Indiana or 120 miles southeast of Chicago Illinios is the fine town of Lafayette Indiana. Truely a railroad town, including a unique looking passenger station that serves Amtrak. Here is a video that is served by many trains per day with various railroad companies. The producers of this video have done an excellent job at showing the trains from many different locations and angles. It is impressive to see. What really caught my eye is the fact that after reading the video description, I thought that only the trains in the city were presented. It was a nice surprise to see the territory around Lafayette in the rural areas that are close by. Great rail fan locations in the open country side as well as in the city. Railway Productions have done a superb job giving us the viewers an insight into a region that has a lot to offer railfans. I believe that all railfans will be pleased with this video and recommend it as "a must have".
