Filmed between 1989 and 2022, we explore the line jointly operated by Union Pacific and BNSF in the hills of deep southern Illinois. We visit the tower at Neilson Junction just before it was removed from service, and see what is probably the last manned helper in Illinois and over thirty years of change on this little known grade.
