Climb aboard the cab of an Amtrak F40-PH diesel engine for a "Head-End" ride through the picturesque New England countryside from Northfield to Hartford, VT. We begin at Northfield (St. Albans to Northfield is covered on tape No.124) and continue south on the New England Central Railroad through Roxbury, East Granville, Braintree, Randolph, Bethel, Royalton and Sharon before arriving at Hartford.
