I'm a big fan of cab ride videos (especially high speed ones) and I bought this more because I was bored than anything else, and thought I'd try it on a lark. I didn't really expect much. Wow! Was this a surprise.
Probably one of the best videos I've ever bought. The video quality is outstanding considering the vintage (the North Shore ceased ops in 1962). Although the sound was added, it was done so well you'd think it was original. There are substantial portions of cab rides covering much of the line at speeds up to 90 mph. This thing was really moving.
The narration really takes you there back in time and introduces you to the history of the line, giving you a good background for what you are seeing. It's like you were really there experiencing it live.
