This program covers the Boston and Maine during the late 1980's and early 1990's under the control the Guilford Rail System. The action is captured along the Fitchburg main from Ayer, MA, in the east, to Mechanicville Yard and Rotterdam Junction in the west. As always, the heart of the B&M is at East Deerfield Yard, and that is where the action is centered. There is also a chase up the Conn River line frtom Greenfield through East Northfield, Brattleboro, Putney and Charlestown, NH. GP40's, ex-Santa Fe SD26's, Bluebird Geeps are featured. Great runbys occur as heavy freights struggle out of the Connecticut River valley at Montague, MA. Running time is 1 hour and 40 minutes. Maps and narration

I Don't understand why catching lots of freight action in New England is Extremely hard to do than the easily seen commuter trains & Amtrak.
