This DVD has amazing video footage of the railroad plus some interviews with the staff. The Copper Basin Railway rolled out the red carpet for these film crews making this an amazing tour. I would like the thank the railroad for allowing this tour. One section of the DVD even has some footage in their shop with maintenance staff showing how the electronics work inside the locomotive and the underside of the locomotives showing the traction motors and how some different type of break shoes work. I am disappointed in the entire series though due to the producers of the DVD overlaying music through out the entire DVD. The railroad allowed film crews in areas of the railroad not accessible to the public and they got great footage but there is no way to hear the locomotives or train at all because of the music. There are also a few spots on the DVD where a railroad employee is explaining something but the commentary talks over them.
For me the music and extra commentary over the top of an employee explaining how things work made the DVD not as enjoyable.
If you like an inside look at a railroad and how it operates with amazing video footage with nothing but music this is a great video for you.
If you are like me and like to hear the train and listen to the crew then this is not the DVD for you.
