Many Steam Locomotives in this program were used during production of Brad's other titles over the years, while others are exclusive to this program. The engines shown in order are: 1. Union Pacific Challenger 3985 in June of 2002, 2. West Side Lumber Company Shay Number 9 at the Midwest Central Railroad in Iowa, 3. Soo Line 1003, 4. Reading T1 2102 on a fall 2022 excursion from Reading to Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania, 5. Norfolk & Western 475 on the Strasburg Railroad during September of 2021 when 611 visited the tourist line that was shown in part 1, 6. Black Hills Central 110, 7. Grand Trunk Western 6325 on the Ohio Central, 8. Chicago & Northwestern 1385 at the Mid-Continent Railway Museum in Wisconsin, 9. Lake Superior & Ishpeming 734 on the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad, 10. Rock River Cannonball 0-4-0 number 3, 11. Canadian Pacific 2317 at the Steamtown National Historic Site, 12. Norfolk & Western 1218, 13. Duluth Missabe & Iron Range 332/Duluth & Northeastern 28 on the Lake Superior Railroad Museum's North Shore Scenic Railroad from Duluth to Two Harbors, 14. Northern Central 17 on the Steam into History Railroad in Pennsylvania, 15. Canadian Pacific 1293 on the Ohio Central Railroad, 16. Pere Marquette 1225 on a 2004 fan-trip that was covered in the 2016 show: Michigan Shortlines volume 2, 17. Northern Pacific 328. 18. Iowa Interstate QJ 6988 before & after its Americanized modifications in 2011, 19. Surry Sussex & Southampton 6 on the Midwest Central, 20. A 2004 Double Header with Canadian Pacific 2816 & Milwaukee Road 261, & 21. A Union Pacific Double Header in May of 2019 with not only 844, but also the debut of Big Boy 4014 that was covered in another Plets Express title: Northwest Shortline & Regional Railroads Volume 1, even though there is a goof on-screen that Brad says that 4014 is a 2-8-8-4, when it should've meant a 4-8-8-4.
