Never to be repeated scenes from Edaville during railfan weekend 1991 and Christmas, 1991. Lots of smoky atmosphere, the little Baldwin 2-4-4T's are a delight to see and hear. Next is a 70 ton Climax on the White Mountain Central in the summer of 1991, then we see the Valley RR's Chinese 1647 in excursion service then double headed on railfan day.

As a railfan and New England Resident myself, this video features lots of great steam action since most of these engine no longer work on these lines today. Part 1 contains the final days of the original Edaville railroad with a pair of 2-4-4T's numbers 7 & 8. The 2nd chapter takes us to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, in the town of Lincoln, for a visit to the white mountain central At Clarks Trading Post, to witness one of the only 3 operating climax type loggers in regular service. And finally we head to Essex, CT to the valley railroad in 1990 where engine 1647(Now NYSW 142) handles both regular trips and special events with 2-8-0 #97 Doubleheading. Today the only engine that is still operating with us today is Climax 6. the edaville steamers and #97 are now billboard displays, and 1647(NYSW 142) works at the Delaware River Railroad in Phillipsburg NJ, Near the Pennsy-NJ state line as well as the Nearby Black River & Western & New Hope & Ivyland Railroads.
