Originally Released in 1996, this program covers a compilation of Articulated Steam Locomotives from other Green Frog Titles: the entire Steam in the 50s Trilogy, Norfolk & Western 1218 Suwanee Steam Special, & Come to the Fair: Railfair '91 with Union Pacific Challenger 3985 double-heading with 4-8-4 number 844 from Cheyenne Wyoming to the California State Railroad Museum in Old Sacramento, & even on a 2-day roundtrip from Salt Lake City Utah to McCammon Idaho in 1991 which some other railroad video producers was also on the 844 & 3985 trips in 1991: Pentrex, Gandy Dancer Video, Berkshire Productions, the late Greg Scholl, Penn Cal Video, Lasting Impressions, Kaw Valley Films, & Dan Engstrom of C. Vision Productions. All in all, Bob Carerra did an awesome job narrating this "Best of" Compilation from Vintage Films in the 40s to the 60s to Modern Videotape in 1991.

Wow, this is a pretty good video of articulated "mallet" locomotives. Lots of N&W power pulling long freights up steep curves with helper engines in the middle as well as the end of the train. Big Boys are also seen in this video - there's even scenes of several big boys coupled together chugging through the yards. The last part of this dvd depicts modern scenes of excursions utilizing preserved N&W locomotives as well as UP 4-8-4 844 running together. A must have for the big steam fan.
