I must admit, I don't care, for the C40-8's, but purchased this program, for the 40 minute segment, covering the C40-8M Cowl Units. The coverage, of these units is excellent, with many never seen shots. One train, even has a C40-8M leading two SD60F's. The slow running shots at University in Minneapolis were just great. Most people agree, these Cowl units are operating on borrowed time. It's great to have them preserved on Widescreen Bluray. A great program

ge standard cabs & cowls vol.2 continues following many of the old standard cab diesel locomotives pulling trains in this video c vision looks at b40-8's from the bnsf c40-9's from the union pacific b39-9's from both the Minnesota commercial and the nashville & eastern and c40-8's and c40-8m's from Canadian national much of the footage of these loco's were shot between 2012-2016 in addition there's also footage of dash 8's from the former chicago & north western and the santa fe and lmx locomotives in the 90s between the two videos of this series i think the first vol is my favorite of the two (i made a review of that one if you'd like to take a look) i bought the first vol to see if i'd like it than buy this one next and it was really good c vision as always for me did an excellent job as they always do with many of their videos i buy

As with volume 1, this is a GREAT program. This one covers UP C40-8s, BNSF B40-8s, B39-8s working for shortlines and CN C40-8/C40-8Ms. Also included is footage of C&NW C40-8s and LMX B39-8s from the 1990s. If your a GE fan, I highly recommend this program.
