Features rare 8mm and Super 8mm movies of steam and diesel action along the Rock Island's Southern Division in Texas and Oklahoma from the 1940s all the way up to the official shutdown on March 31, 1980. Steam motive power includes 2-8-2, 4-8-2 and 2-8-0. Diesel models include TA, DL109, E-8, FT, F7, GP-7, GP35, GP38-2, U25B, U30C, and SD40-2. Other equipment includes #9090 on the Junior Rocket and RDC3 #9015. Includes a tour of the El Reno Shops in July 1979, the last RI train on March 31, 1979, and several of the Trustee Extras.
