Having been spoiled with the John Pechulis releases (Railfanning with the Bednar's, Anthracite Railroads, etc.) which feature great vintage footage of the Reading, I was eager to view this dvd. Unfortunately, I was disappointed, as I had hoped for more mainline action and a better-quality of images. For me, way too much filming of yard-action. It does reflect nicely on the evolution of the Reading up to the acquisition into Conrail, and features all paint schemes and a good variety of engines, including EMD, Alco's, and Budd cars.
