First and foremost this DVD is probably the most interesting train video i own.I have watched it at least 50 times already.The content is very interesting to say the least.Alot of closeup shots of the loco's and rolling stock,and the "merchants bridge" is Awesome.
Finally a video without a bunch of mindless run-by's.Alot of variety of Motive power,and this video actually has no mountains in it.This video is truly a must have,beware this isn't a train video that you've seen before,and there is nothing else out there like it.Highball did a excellent job with the tele-photo lens and videography...top notch.I would love to see more videos like this one.

if there is anything that i didn't like about this DVD,it would be the appearance of Amtrak trains(not interested).

I will say this, non stop action all the way through ,lots of different locations and lots of good surprises, if you love action this dvd is for you!! Bluray top notch stuff!!! all major railroads covered as well as the shortlines and the manufacturer railroad is covered!!

Another big city rail road video. Always interesting to see the various locations around the cities. No exception here. Scenes from both sides of the Mississippi River are shown with a lot of action from the calss 1' and from shortline/regionals as well as commuter and Amtrak passenger service. If you want to see a lot of train action in a relatively small area... this video is for you.
