There is only one place in the world where non-tourist steam powered trains run in regular service, and that is in Wolsztyn, Poland. Watch as the trains stop and depart at stations, then race through the countryside trailing plumes of smoke. See the roundhouse that is full of steam locomotives.

Have a look at the trolleys on the city streets of Poznan.

Additional experiences are visits to five narrow gauge lines of three different gauges where sturdy little Polish locos amble through the rural farm land. We think you will enjoy these steam train adventures.

This one is different. It is 2 disc production covering steam in Poland during a railfan tour group visit. One part covers an actual in-service steam line and the other some restored models rocking and rolling along old right of ways. Shot in the spring in a most agrarian area of Poland, the countryside is quite pleasant and well captured by Blu-Ray. This was a close-out purchase but I am happy to have it in my collection. Even my wife was enjoyed and was intrigued by this one.

Additional remarks by Bobby Elliott:
Narration: Just enough.
Would kids enjoy this? I doubt it.
Image quality: Excellent!
DVD Value: Excellent Value!
Recommend to others? Not unless they REALLY were interested in the subject matter.
